Fred L. Potter, Attorney
Fred has served a broad range of nonprofit and commercial clients. On the commercial side, he has managed over $3.2 billion in mergers & acquisitions. On the nonprofit side, he has led teams that provide health insurance coverage for the uninsurable in New Hampshire, and helped close childhood immunization funding gaps in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Alaska, and Washington.
A past president of the New Hampshire Bar Association and former CEO and executive director of the Christian Legal Society, Fred is "AV rated" by Martindale Hubble (the top ranking available). He also has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, New Hampshire's Top Business Lawyers, Who's Who in Insurance, Who's Who in Finance and Business, and Who's Who in American Law.
Fred earned a B.A. from Harvard College, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, all with academic honors. Over the years, he has served on the boards of several private and publicly-held corporations. He and his wife, Mertie, a professor of psychiatric nursing, have three children and six grandchildren.
Heather A. Veen, Paralegal
Heather holds an A.A. in Legal Assistant studies from Shasta College in California. She has extensive legal assistant experience working with state, federal, and supreme courts in various aspects of law. She was a Board member of the Oak Run Union School District Board of Trustees, and was Vice President of the Redding Legal Professionals Association in California. Heather and her husband live in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. |
